Woman; Hispanic.45 to 65 years old, able to play 65+ through styling; Can speak in a Spanish accent. Rosa is the family’s sweet-faced, sharp-tongued matriarch — warm and loving one second, terrifying with a candle and a curse the next. She believes she is spiritually gifted, deeply misunderstood, and absolutely right about everything. Dramatic, nosy, loving, superstitious, and impossible to ignore, Rosa uses guilt, prayer, black magic, and perfectly timed insults to keep her family in line. She can turn any conversation into a telenovela and any small problem into a full spiritual emergency. Strong comedy, mockumentary, and truthful heightened performance needed.
